Sunkin® Carbomer 1382 is a powder rheology modifier polymerized in a toxicologically-preferred cosolvent system specifically designed for thickening surfactant systems. It is an effective suspending and stabilizing agent for use in specialty shampoos, where dandruff actives must be permanently suspended and immiscible conditioning agents must be effectively stabilized. It is also an excellent thickener and light gellant for systems containing electrolytes, anionic and amphoteric surfactants, and ethyl or isopropyl alcohols. Suggested applications include shampoos, antidandruff shampoos, bath and shower gels, hydroalcoholic gels, and fragrance gels.
